I did notice that there is no poping sound in the speakers when I turn on the hair clippers or the hair dryer. I have a nice clear picture. I did not use the phone lines or coax filter because the AT&T guy advise against it. When want to turn the tv, blu-ray, and home theater off at once, no problem. No problems so far. I have had this product for about six weeks. I like the switched outlets. That's no problem because all of my equipment is going through the power strip.
Great product and half price from the retail stores. What more can I say.
I was dissappointed that I was charged for shipping when this was a part of an order for which I paid way over the requirement for free shipping. It does work just fine but I would have bought it elsewhere if I had known I would be charged for shipping. This item is exactly what it was advertised to be. I did not ask for it to be sent separately.
Why three stars. I got a relatively great price on it here on Amazon, and yet the price in proportion to the product is still astounding. It has a lot of room to plug in a lot of items, and I appreciate that. I can't tell any difference in output quality with my equipment plugged into this surge protector as opposed to my old surge protector. It looks cool, but you can't see it. This is a surge protector. The manufacturer brags about a lot of fancy features that I don't understand. Overall, it's quite adequate.
Traditionaly plasmas require lots of power, cheaper surge protectors just don't seem to hold muster and can cause noise issues, this product holds its own and does a very good job. ALthough I don't believe this has improved my picture yet, it has done the job of protecting my new 50 plasma. Was able to get it for half of what the retail stores sell it for and for that price, was a great deal.
